From left to right: Teacher Nok, Director, Kroo Chaba, Teacher Jid, Teacher Lao
I say thank you to the director, teachers and students! It was a great experience!

In the morning, all students have to make lines. They have like a small ceremony. It start at 8 o'clock and they go to class at about 8.30.

teaching scouting

The last hour on wednesday is scouts - time. I teached them about our way of scouting (Owoo - movie), about uniform, and about 100 year celebration, ... There were to many students, and less of time to play a game.
Teacher Lao teached also about uniforms. Because it was the first lesson, some student were not OK. Pee Lao repeated for them the rules!

teaching english

Jid and I, teaching english. Jid translated when the students could not understand me.

It's all about Belgium (languages, north -south and east, about the capital (and about Gent, I'm very sorry for the other provinces, it would be to difficult to explaine everything, the 'mountains', food, ...)
We talked a lot! I learned a lot about Thailand and Thai - language, and they learned a lot about Belgium and could exercise the English language.
Nok will say Goeindag (Griet's way) if she meet somebody from Belgium. I can almost pronounce correctly the 5 tunes (may, may, may, may, and may)! Can you?
If you don't recognize me any more, this person is Griet Hoet. Don't forget, because in a copple of days I will be back in Gent.

This is my house on Banluang school. It is radder big. There are 2 sleepingrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room.
Every morning I had room - service. Teacher Lao served hot water, and teacher Nok passed by with Thai breakfast. It feels like a queen in paradise. Sanouk mak!

Nok thong thiaw

When I arrived, we took one day off to see Nan city. We went to the museum, and had a nice view on top of the hill. On monday we had to leave Nan, to go to school. The school is in Banluang (house of the king). Banluang is a small village in the north of the Nan province (also the north of Thailand).

Wiangsa

Those pictures are from Wiangsa, a small village in the Nan province. Nok, her husband and her family are living here. It is really a beautifull place, with a big garden, lots of vegtables and fruit.
The little boy is a friend of Fang. She is the pretty girl with the sunglasses! Fang was afraid of me, because Nok told her that if she was naughty, I would take here with me to Belgium. She doesn't like!
Ik schrijf even in het engels. De Thaien die de blog volgen vinden het nederlands maar niets! Ze willen duidelijk ook de commentaar kunnen volgen.
